TPA & desktop claims management

Woodgate & Clark has provided Third Party Administration (TPA) and desktop claims services to the insurance sector for more than two decades.

Our TPA services range from FNOL claim registration and validation activity, through to preparation of bordereaux and payment of claims, fund management and recoveries. We are a Lloyd’s approved Delegated Claims Administrators (DCA) and work in partnership with numerous Lloyd’s underwriters to deliver professional, cost-effective claims services.

Our TPA teams operate from our three largest offices, which are situated in Kings Hill (Kent), Manchester and Birmingham. In keeping with our commitment to technical excellence, the claims professionals who comprise our TPA teams are knowledgeable, multi-skilled, and experienced in a broad range of claim types, and are interconnected with the wider expertise and services of the Woodgate & Clark business to give our clients access to the right knowledge and capability at the right time.

For claims of lower value and complexity, and where a site visit is not required, the most efficient and cost-effective route to handle them is by a desk-based claims handler.

We provide our clients with a dedicated point of contact for all desk-handled claims, who also acts as the point of contact for regular enquiries from the client. These experienced and highly skilled members of our team take time to build a good working relationship with the client claims team, ensuring effective and timely communication throughout.

Samantha Trotter, Head of TPA

Samantha joined the Woodgate & Clark senior operational management team as Head of TPA in April 2025. With more than 25 years of experience in a TPA environment, Sam has an in-depth knowledge of liability, property and motor claims handling, most recently leading a substantial corporate motor TPA offering as a Senior Operations Manager, using her significant experience in building teams and processes designed to deliver a customer experience focused claims journey.

Sam has a passion for people and plays an integral role in our strategy for growth and our ambition to grow a cohesive, multiskilled TPA.
