Posted on 21 January 2022

Woodgate & Clark has stepped up its senior recruitment strategy by appointing Glyn Brookes-Humphrey into a new role of Operations Manager, based in Leeds.

Brookes-Humphrey, who was previously at Sedgwick, is the latest hire by Woodgate & Clark as it responds to growth in its loss adjusting business.  He reports to UK Service Manager Nic Fordyce and began his new role at the start of this year.

Nic Fordyce explained that Brookes-Humphrey will support service and technical quality delivery by optimising resources, managing workloads and adhering to client service level agreements, as well as further developing technical quality across the business.

“Our business is becoming ever more complex, especially in light of the pandemic and changes to working practices, and Glyn will be a vital player in making sure we are able to service the competing demands of our clients and their customers.”

“Woodgate & Clark had an extremely busy 2021, and with prospects for further growth in 2022 looking good, Glyn will assist in managing our operations infrastructure and ensuring we continue to deliver market-leading service and support.”

Glyn said: “After a number of years working for big loss adjusters, I was looking for a different operating model where the human touch and relationship management still really matter.”

“Woodgate & Clark’s people-first approach to operations and client servicing is highly appealing; I’m looking forward to working alongside the management team and bringing my operations experience into the heart of the business.”

Nic Fordyce added: “It’s great to have someone of Glyn’s calibre and experience in our business and he will make an immediate and positive difference.”

“We remain keen to talk to adjusting professionals across the UK who are looking for a fulfilling role in an energetic and dynamic business.”
